Jason's Market Trails is an authentic showcase of Malaysian food, while Best Interest is a legal drama that leaves questions unanswered

For all its beautiful cinematography and hype, Netflix food documentary series Street Food has got a lot of flak for being poorly researched.

The Singapore episode, for example, sparked criticism for not featuring Indian cuisine and also for spending way too much time on putu piring (steamed rice flour cakes), arguably an odd choice to represent the Lion City since it is so uncommon.
