In my article three weeks ago on plant-based meats going more mainstream here, I wrote about sandwich shop Rebel's offerings, which use spicy patties and nuggets from Quorn, an established meat substitute brand from Britain.

In particular, I enjoyed its Vegan H.A.L.T ($7.50) with Quorn spicy patties, avocado salsa, lettuce and tomato. There are also three other plant-based meat sandwiches.
