For British actress Emma Kingston, playing the role of Eva Peron in the musical Evita has been meaningful.

Peron was the First Lady of Argentina from 1946 to 1952. Kingston's mother is Argentinian and moved to Britain with her parents and three siblings when she was 12 years old.
