The plug has been pulled on the plans by appliance maker Dyson to produce a game changing electric car in Singapore.

The company led by British entrepreneur James Dyson has decided to shelve the project - less than a year after announcing it would do so. The cars were to have been built at a plant in Singapore, where the company has moved its corporate headquarters.
