According to the traffic rules, vehicles in a three-lane road turning into a four-lane road should all use the respective three outer lanes. Keep the last lane on the left free.
And if you are turning left from a three-lane road into a four-laner, it follows the same principle but in reverse, keeping the rightmost lane free.
