Self-shifting 911 GT3 RS

A self-shifting 911 GT3 RS? Has Porsche gone soft? The cover story of Torque's August issue has the answer, along with the low-down on how the 500bhp road warrior feels without a third pedal.

Other fast wheels in the issue include the Lamborghini Aventador LP750-4 SV, Mini John Cooper Works (this one is still manual) and BMW S1000XR.

In the group test section, the BMW 220i Convertible goes head to head (or should it be headless to headless?) with the Audi A3 Cabriolet. Then, the Lexus RC F is pitted against its nemesis, the BMW M4.

And what is August without an SG50 theme? Torque, which is exactly half the age of independent Singapore, marks the occasion with a red-and-white cover as well as a pictorial special that celebrates Singapore's achievements - with a classic BMW M3 and futuristic i3 as backdrop.

Torque, out at newsstands now.
