Crossing mountains, seas and the Causeway

On Sept 1, 1955, two Land Rover Series I station wagons set off from Hyde Park in London.

In the cars were Cambridge University graduates Antony Barrington Brown, Adrian Cowell, Patrick Murphy, Henry Nott and Tim Slessor, as well as Oxford University undergraduate Nigel Newbery.
