With their huge black ears and wide smiles, Mickey and Minnie Mouse are two of the most recognisable faces in the world.

The characters were propelled to stardom nearly a century ago with the short film Steamboat Willie (1928), with Walt Disney himself providing the original voices for both Mickey and Minnie.
