Madonna's concert should receive more than a R18 rating from the Media Development Authority (MDA). Her performances, sets and song lyrics are offensive to Christianity, Christians and their practices.
Singapore works hard to protect religious harmony, but the Government could do more. MDA gave the concert an R18 rating for "sexually suggestive content which is more suitable for adults".
Is that sufficient? She is performing at the National Stadium, which has open architecture, so non-ticket holders including underaged persons can listen to the performance just standing outside the stadium.
