Love of Chinese tea inspires skincare range

After almost a decade living in Shanghai, beauty entrepreneur Marie Amiand found that heavy metal poisoning caused by the pollution in the city was making her hair fall out and causing her to feel increasingly exhausted.

Speaking to The Straits Times last month, the French founder of Shanghai-based skincare label Lu Ming Tang, says: "My doctor gave me medication which would detox the body and also told me to drink lots of green tea. That's how I fell in love with Chinese teas."
