SINGAPORE • Superstar pianist Lang Lang (above) has cancelled his concerts in Singapore due to inflammation in his left arm.

The Chinese pianist, 35, was scheduled to perform on two nights, Nov 29 and 30, at the Esplanade Concert Hall.

Under his doctor's recommendation, he will take this time to rest his arm and allow it to heal. No further details about his injury were available.

The Singapore Symphony Orchestra said it is searching for a replacement and more information will be made available in the weeks ahead.
