When Ms Christine Koh became a full-time homemaker and started cooking for her family last year, her husband and son were encouraging, but it took her daughter almost a month to accept her cooking.
The 34-year-old, who worked as a secondary school teacher for 10 years before leaving her job last year to take care of her children, recalls: "It was tough the first week I started cooking. My daughter refused to eat the minced pork porridge and herbal chicken soup I prepared. She had no confidence in my cooking."
