Hugh Jackman, an ambassador for Montblanc, was asked to complete nine sentences at the brand's 110th anniversary celebration in New York. The 47-year-old Australian actor, who spoke to The Straits Times from the Rockefeller Center, has been a Montblanc ambassador since 2014.

My life is… unpredictable.

I wish I could… say no more often.

My biggest indulgence is… cricket. I can watch cricket for hours. My most treasured possession is… my house on Bondi Beach. It's my happy place.

The best present I've ever received was… a book of my mother's recipes that she gave me when I got married. She's the best cook I've ever known. She's not someone that uses a cookbook, so to write this book she had to make every single dish for a year because she didn't know the exact amounts.

My dream party guest list would include… Ricky Gervais, and Barack and Michelle Obama.

My next holiday will… be to the Caribbean.

Luxury is… having choice.

A perfect day is… swimming in the ocean first thing in the morning, eating at Bills cafe in Sydney, cooking lunch at home with a beautiful bottle of wine, swimming again in the afternoon, and then going out for dinner at somewhere amazing.
