I lived in hell between 2008 and 2010. I was juggling a high-pressure job based in the United States as chief technology officer of a global medical technology company and a young family based in Singapore.

My family had returned to Singapore for my elder son to start Primary 1. Every two weeks, I was either on a flight back to Singapore to be with the family or heading back to the US corporate office.
