SINGAPORE - With the short turnaround between Christmas and Chinese New Year, malls here have had to get creative with changing their festive decor.

Several malls have either retained their decor from Christmas or repurposed materials from the Yuletide season to give them a Chinese New Year spin. The first day of Chinese New Year falls on Jan 25 this year.
