Cooking with vegetables from your own garden is now easier with smart gardening systems that are compact and automate the watering process

Nearing meal times, lifestyle coach Anlinna Lim, 37, goes to the balcony of her four-room condominium apartment and chooses the vegetables she wants to eat.

And with three towering vertical smart gardens growing more than 100 types of plants, including kale, mustard green, purple spinach and bird's eye chilli, her options are plentiful.
