Natural materials and an earthy palette lend a resort feel to this home

Home owners Bjorn Engelhardt and his wife were keen to give their newly bought semi-detached house a refreshed look, but instead of stripping the space bare, they decided on fine-tuning and injecting their own character into it.

Inspired by the Balinese resort look, the couple, who are in their 50s, wanted to bring warmth and a relaxing vibe to the interior of their three-storey house in Serangoon Gardens, which they share with a pet dog.
