SINGAPORE - Barely two months after the closure of both his Michelin-starred restaurants at Resorts World Sentosa (RWS) in Singapore, French chef Joel Robuchon has died at his home in Geneva. The 73-year-old is reported to have died of cancer.
An international brand name on the culinary scene, Mr Robuchon built an empire of more than 20 restaurants across the globe, a number of which have earned three Michelin stars. At one point, he had garnered more than 30 Michelin stars across his restaurants, according to a Reuters report.
