Former teacher wants his kids to explore interests

Six years ago, former teacher Samuel Lim, 43, decided that he wanted his then five-year-old daughter, Phoebe, to be homeschooled.

Since he has experience as both a school and tuition teacher, that responsibility naturally fell on his shoulders. It also meant that he had to stay home full-time.
