SINGAPORE - While the Singapore Sling or Tiger Beer may be Singapore's most famous alcoholic exports, the Republic has more up its sleeve - if the burgeoning home-grown craft spirits and beer market is any indication.
From a microbrewery called Pink Blossoms Brewing predominantly making New England-style beers to microdistilleries such as The Orientalist Spirits, Brass Lion Distillery and Tanglin Gin making gins with botanicals familiar to Singaporeans, the past seven months have seen several new entries to the made-in-Singapore alcohol space.
