Famous for its rojak and fish soup, the hawker centre at Block 90 Whampoa Drive has been a stomping ground for foodies for decades.

Now called Whampoa Makan Place, the food centre occupies the location of the now-defunct Rayman Market which was opened in 1952, according to the National Heritage Board's website, roots.sg.
