Restaurant Review: Popular fare from famous hawkers in cool comfort at Shangri-La's Lobby Lounge

SINGAPORE - On days when I crave a bowl of my favourite bak chor mee, or minced meat noodles, I would head to the Serangoon Garden market and hawker centre where Seng Kee Mushroom Minced Pork Noodles is.

The stall's highlight is noodle soup that comes with not just minced pork, lean meat and mushroom slices, but also pieces of fried fish maw and egg drop. And the broth boasts a good body with the distinctive flavour of dried sole.
