SINGAPORE - The chatter about plant-based this and plant-based that usually bores me. It is the surfeit of earnestness, the evangelical gleam in the eyes of the converted that puts me off. I love meat. You know, the real kind.

But when I got word that Impossible Foods was launching its product here, I was intrigued. This is not any meat substitute made entirely from plants. Well it is, but it also bleeds like meat.
