Diners will be spoilt for choice with the variety of offerings from the new Platform M food hall - reminiscent of a railway station - at the redeveloped SingPost Centre in Paya Lebar.
Run by the Ministry Of Food group, it features nine restaurant concepts, along with a fruit juice outlet.
The Japanese section features Tensho (tempura rice bowls); Kazu Kazu (Japanese rice bowls such as katsudon and oyakodon); Yaki Ramen for collagen ramen; and Kaisen Tei (donburi topped with raw fish).
For Chinese food, head to Ju Hao (for Northern Chinese fare and xiao long bao); Duck Master (specialising in Hong Kong roast duck, above); and So Lucky, for local delights such as laksa, mee siam and kopi.
In addition, CafeMama restaurant offers Korean street food, while Economi of Scale serves Western cuisine.
Buy the Platform M card priced at $20 ($17 in account, $3 for administration fee) as the food hall operates on cashless dining via a self-ordering kiosk system.

SEA & BLUE
Calling buffet lovers: There is a new restaurant, the 350-seat Sea & Blue, at Marina Bay Sands.
The buffet - menu items rotate fortnightly - offers a range of fresh seafood, roast meats (above), as well as Western, Japanese and Korean dishes. Think freshly shucked Canadian oysters, snow crab legs, salmon sashimi and seasonal meats such as crispy pork knuckle and wagyu ribeye. Local favourites include salted egg prawns, black pepper beef and bak kut teh. There are also salads, pizzas, pastas and desserts.
Sea & Blue offers wine, sake, beer and soju. Prices start at $11 for a glass of wine and $20 for a bottle of soju.
The buffet for adults is priced from $42++ to $64++ for lunch and $58++ to $68++ for dinner. For children, it is $22++ to $26++ for lunch and $26++ for dinner.
The restaurant has four private rooms (four to 12 people, book for an additional fee of $30 to $50) and a conference room (for 50 people, additional $150).

The newly launched Oakwood Premier OUE Singapore serviced apartment features a 74-seat in-house restaurant called Se7enth, as well as a bar and Executive Club lounge.
Se7enth offers a daily breakfast buffet and a weekday executive set lunch ($24++). The set lunch features a choice of grilled teriyaki chicken served with furikake brown rice and shiba zuke; or herb-crusted salmon, along with a free flow of appetisers from the salad bar, bread and soup of the day.
The a la carte menu highlights include Australian grain-fed ribeye steak ($38), pan-seared salmon ($28) and linguine seafood aglio olio ($24).
