Open For Business: O Mamma Mia Sapore Italiano, Drinks & Co. Kitchen and Black Mamba

5 terre

Unlike most other pizza eateries, the pizzas at this Spanish pizzeria chain are sold by the slice.

The brand, which has 23 outlets in Spain, opened two outlets at Clementi Mall and Causeway Point last month - its first restaurants in Singapore. A third outlet will open in Changi City Point next month.

Like the Spanish outlets, the restaurants here ship frozen dough from Italy to ensure consistency.

Diners can check out the recommended 5 Terre ($4.20 a slice), a pizza with a pesto sauce base that is topped with mushrooms, tomatoes and parmesan and mozzarella cheeses. There is also the Tonnara E Cipolla ($3.90 a slice), which is topped with tuna and onions, accompanied by tomato sauce and a layer of mozzarella.

For something sweet, try the Pizza Nutella ($3.50 a slice), which has a crispy crust with the chocolate-hazelnut spread and banana topping.
