Last month, the TungLok Group launched Duckland in United Square. It realised the potential for a restaurant that serves duck in different styles when it saw its two XiHe Peking Duck outlets here, the first of which opened in 2012, doing well.
The highlight of the 72-seater Duckland is Irish duck, bred at Silver Hill Farm in Ireland. The ducks are prepared in Asian and Western styles and all the dishes use duck fat, which is known to be monounsaturated fat that can help reduce unhealthy cholesterol levels.
