With the opening of three new stations in Woodlands last Friday, the neighbourhood is set to become more bustling. While Woodlands is not known as a food haven, there are hidden gems - from rosti (Swiss-style potato pancake) at a hawker stall to gelato and waffles at a halal-certified cafe.
These good eats can be found in the vicinity of the three new stations - the first to open on the new Thomson-East Coast Line, Singapore's sixth MRT line, which will have 32 stations when it is fully operational by 2024.
