New wine label to launch in Singapore

Empathy Wines will kick off here next month with a rose, which will be sold at $210 for a case of six

While American Internet personality Gary Vaynerchuk may be better known these days as an entrepreneur, digital-marketing guru and social media celebrity, the 43-year-old is going back to his wine roots with Empathy Wines.

Named so because he wanted to promote empathy for the wine producer and the consumer by cutting out the middlemen and keeping the price down, the wine label is kicking off with a bottle of rose.
