Mixology guru Hidetsugu Ueno's favourite drink is simple - whisky and water

Japanese mixology guru Hidetsugu Ueno was recently in town for the DFS Masters of Wines and Spirits event, where he taught a bartending masterclass. He shows The Straits Times how to make a Full Bloom cocktail.

SINGAPORE - Japanese bartender Hidetsugu Ueno is considered one of the legends of the cocktail world - winning multiple accolades, holding masterclasses, judging global cocktail competitions and running his own, much-awarded Bar High Five in Tokyo.

His bar was the first Asian bar to place in the top three of the World's 50 Best Bars in 2013.
