SINGAPORE - Celebrated New York chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten has opened his first restaurant in Singapore.

Located at the Como Dempsey lifestyle cluster in Dempsey Hill, the restaurant has touches of fine dining in the food.

Life editor Tan Hsueh Yun dined there on Wednesday (March 8) night.

  • The Dempsey Cookhouse & Bar

  • Where: Block 17D Dempsey Road
    Open: 6 to 9.30pm (Sundays to Thursdays), 6 to 10.30pm (Fridays, Saturdays, eve of public holidays and public holidays). Bar is open 5pm to midnight daily. The restaurant will be open for lunch, noon to 2.30pm daily, from the end of the month.
