High-end sushi bar to open at Raffles Hotel

Award-winning chef Koichiro Oshino will head the restaurant that serves Edomae-style sushi

One of Singapore's best sushi chefs is opening his own restaurant.

In July, chef Koichiro Oshino, 49, will open an eight-seat sushi-ya at the Raffles Hotel, with the backing of Shinji by Kanesaka, which runs sushi restaurants at the Carlton Hotel, where chef Oshino currently works; and The St Regis Singapore.
