Morton's New Seasonal Menu

Morton's of Chicago Singapore has rolled out a new seasonal menu for autumn. Kicking off the new dishes is Prime Steak Tartare ($33++), served with pickled red onions, Dijon mustard, cornichons and lightly toasted baguette. At the heart of the menu is the 10oz American Wagyu Ribeye Steak ($118++), sourced from Snake River Farms. Dessert is White Chocolate Pecan Bread Pudding ($35++), white chocolate chips and pecans served with a warm bourbon caramel sauce and vanilla ice cream.

Eat Through The Week At Hotel Jen Tanglin

Hotel Jen Tanglin Singapore's latest dining promotion, Eat Through The Week, is at its J65 restaurant. On Mondays, it is crab day with salted egg crab, black pepper crab and crab popiah. Tuesday's Beef Yourself Up theme features roast ribeye, sup ekor and beef rendang tok. It is Lobster Rock & Roll on Wednesdays with hand-tossed lobster roll, lobster bisque and lobster laksa. Thursday is all king prawns with baked sea-salt king prawns, claypot live prawns and Penang prawn mee. Seafood mania (oysters, scallops, lobsters, crabs, prawns) dominates Fridays and Saturdays, while Sundays go local with lamb biryani, chef' s signature popiah and fried oyster omelette.

Ce La Vi Unveils New Modern Asian Menu

Ce La Vi's menu has undergone a makeover to focus on bold Asian flavours. New appetisers include the Marinated Angel Hair pasta ($22++), which is served al-dente style, tossed in with tobiko and a pinch of spring onions. The Garlic Prawns are shelled and marinated with paprika and strips of chorizo. Among the main courses are roasted lemongrass chicken ($34++), Norwegian salmon ($42++) and grilled lamb ribs ($48++) . European Cheese Campaign

The Centre National Interprofessionel de l'Economie Laitiere, with support from the European Union, is introducing European cheese to Singapore. A Say Cheese food truck will be stationed at three lunchtime hot spots, serving a selection of treats created using European cheeses, including bite-sized delights such as a Bleu "Hollandaise" on Egg Croustade and Mozzarella Mousse and Shaved Parmesan Smashed Peas Crostini. Complimentary tote bags will be given out to the public who #SayCheese for the camera at the on-site social photo booths.

Hai Tien Lo's executive chef Lai Tong Ping has crafted a six-course set menu and nine a la carte items to showcase the finest of the Chinese mitten crabs. Besides the signature steamed whole hairy crab with perilla leaves ($68++ a piece), other dishes include the braised pork shoulder with hairy crab meat and roe in oyster sauce ($32++ a serving for two to four people) and the Japanese-style baked sea perch fillet with hairy crab meat and roe sauce ($22++ a person).
