Great Meat Feast At The Carvery

Brotzeit VivoCity's 10th Anniversary Edition

Brotzeit VivoCity's annual Oktoberfest celebration, now in its 10th year, promises to top previous editions. Almaviva Vertical Wine-pairing Dinner At Saint Pierre

Baroness Philippine de Rothschild and Mr Eduardo Guilisasti Tagle joined forces to form Almaviva in 1997, creating a New World winery based on age-old wine-making techniques. Connoisseurs get a vertical sampling of its latest years, such as the 2010 bottles (James Suckling 97 points), the 2009 production (Wine Spectator 96 points), the 2007 selections (Wine Enthusiast 93 points) and the 2006 range (Stephen Tanzer 93 points). To complement these wines, chef Emmanuel Stroobant has created a menu that includes marbled foie gras terrine with duck breast confit, housemade plum gel and liquorice bubbles, grilled red mullet fillet with orange-zest-glazed organic heirloom carrot, genevoise sauce and coffee dust, and roasted pigeon with foie gras stuffing, braised Belgian endives, smoked potato espuma, honey, coriander seed and cocoa dots.
