Uma Uma Ramen

The Hakata ramen restaurant celebrates its third birthday with two events. On Thursday, a one-day only offer lets diners enjoy one-for-one ramen (the ramen of lesser value will be complimentary, for dine-in only, not valid for takeaway or upsized items), and selected side dishes for only $3++ (usual prices from $4++ to $8++). A Beijing Duck Affair At Min Jiang At One-North

Master chef Goh Chee Kong presents new crepes and fillings to accompany the house speciality, wood-fired Beijing duck carved tableside. The "dou miao" crepe, made with blanched pea shoots, comes with crispy beancurd skin, special sweet sauce, sliced leek and cucumber to wrap up with the duck; the orange crepe is infused with fresh orange zest, and complements the duck along with hot and sour topshell, mashed raw garlic, orange juice-marinated radish, special sweet sauce, and blanched Tianjin cabbage. Diners can also choose one of four options to enjoy the duck meat as a second course, such as spicy minced duck with lettuce wrap.
