Gourmet Greens Week

Presented by Fiji Water and Chope, this inaugural event offers a vegetable-centric experience across restaurants and cuisines. For seven days, vegetarian set lunch and dinner menus will be offered by Absinthe, Afterglow, Blue Bali, Burlamacco, Highlander at Chijmes, Humpback, Luxe Sydney, Original Sin, Oso Ristorante, Pepenero, Punjab Grill, Song Of India, Sugarhall, Tandoor, The Missing Pan, Neon Pigeon and Sopra Cucina & Bar. All menus are meat-free but may feature dairy and eggs.

Canadian Beef Series

Savour premium Canadian beef in a four-course menu specially crafted by Alkaff Mansion's chef Simone Depalmas. The starter is a beef carpaccio with rucola salad and parmesan cheese, followed by potato gnocchi with porcini mushrooms and beef tenderloin. The main course is tender beef tagliata with roasted potatoes. This is the start of the Canadian Beef series by the Canada Beef International Institute and Wine & Dine magazine. Other restaurants will also present menus featuring Canadian beef in the following weeks.

Enjoy the coveted Yangcheng Lake crustaceans in a la carte dishes by executive Chinese chef Kwan Yiu Kan, which include hairy crab meat with crab roe and pea shoots; braised beancurd with bamboo pith, hairy crab meat and crab roe; hearty steamed mee sua with hairy crab meat and crab roe in Chinese wine; braised bird's nest with hairy crab meat and crab roe; and steamed hairy crab meat and crab roe xiao long bao. OverEasy's Save Orchard Road campaign continues with truffled giveaways tomorrow. Flash your shopping bags, which must contain items bought on the same day in the Orchard Road area, at the restaurant to get a free Truffle Burger. Tea And Dinner Sets at Saveur Art

Saveur Art's new Afternoon Tea set (daily, 3 - 5.30pm, $38.90++ for two persons; till Nov 30, introductory offer of $19++ for two persons) begins with Bailey's pistachio panna cotta, and continues with treats such as macarons, fudge cake and freshly baked scones with jam and clotted cream. The four-course dinner set menu ($59++ a person) has dishes such as the signature egg confit with truffled potato mousseline, and butter-poached lobster with lobster ravioli. Chef-restaurateur David Myers and executive chef William Gumport present new menus of izakaya-style, Asian-inspired modern American cuisine. Think baby kale salad with hon shimeji mushrooms, hazelnuts and truffle pecorino dressing, Maine lobster with butter-poached barley risotto and sudachi lime, and a signature wagyu cheeseburger. Chateau Smith Haut Lafitte Dinner At Zafferano

Hosted by Daniel and Florence Cathiard from Chateau Smith Haut Lafitte, this dinner pairs their exceptional vintages from 1990 to 2010 with a five-course menu by chef Marco Guccio. Sample matches such as homemade tagliatelle with chanterelles and truffle emulsion, with the Rouge 2010, awarded 98+ points by Robert Parker; and pan-seared pigeon with red apple compote and foie gras-filled apricots, with the Rouge 1990.
