A Relais & Chateaux Evening

Saint Pierre and Lufthansa present an evening with two stars of Relais & Chateaux establishments: Chef Philippe Vetele, who has a two-Michelin-starred restaurant in Hotel Anne de Bretagne on France's Atlantic coast , and chef Emmanuel Stroobant. Their eight-course menu includes courses by chef Vetele, such as a declination of oysters served at four temperatures, from iced to hot; line-caught Atlantic sea bass with crushed sardines, spices and razor clam; and oven-roasted lobster with garlic confit and Noirmoutier grenailles potatoes. Chef Stroobant's dishes include chawanmushi and chanterelles with white Alba truffle and organic baby spinach, and almond dragee-crusted venison with nashi pear, beetroot, celeriac, single-estate cocoa and pinot noir reduction. Two French-focused wine pairing options are available, with labels such as the 2005 Chablis Grand Cru Valmur William Fevre and the 2003 Chateau Rieussec. Limited to 80 seats a night.

Koskos Hour

Organised by F&B kiosk Koskos, the second edition of this pop-up party features barbers, DJs, chefs, food and drink producers, as well as other local talents. NEW MENU

Copper Chimney

The 10-year-old restaurant has a new interior and revamped menu featuring a range of North Indian delights, as well as Indian Chinese or "Chindian" cuisine. Highlights include salt and pepper baby corn ($9); Chicken Manchurian ($11.50), which is chicken and sauteed vegetables served in sweet and sour sauce; and Szechwan Fried Rice ($11), made with basmati rice and cooked with Indian and Chinese spices. Other signature dishes include fish tikka masala ($12.50), mutton roganjosh ($12) and rumali roti ($3.50). For dessert, homemade kulfi (Indian ice cream, $7) - with flavours such as pistachio, rose and lychee - is available, along with a new Sizzling Brownie with Ice Cream ($7.50) dessert.

Basilico

Head chef Luca Beccalli brings his brand of traditionalist cuisine, inspired by his mother and grandmother's cooking, to the Regent's flagship Italian restaurant. The new a la carte menu boasts Beccalli's creations such as 60-day cured black pepper wagyu beef bresaola with 40-month aged parmesan cheese; roasted foie gras in moscato wine, served with toasted truffle brioche, caramelised peach and moscato reduction; and Sardinian malloreddus pasta with queen scallops, zucchini, pachino tomato and black truffle. Every Wednesday until Dec 30, there will be a Basilissimo For Her experience ($98++ an adult), which includes a complimentary glass of rose wine, followed by an appetiser buffet, main course, dessert buffet and a signature cocktail at Manhattan bar. Men can order from the a la carte menu or have the semi-buffet dinner at $88++.

The Company Of Cats

To mark its first anniversary, the cat cafe in Chinatown has expanded its menu. New items include Japanese Sesame Noodles, somen with carrot, edamame, bonito and nori in a nutty, tangy soya sesame dressing, with an optional topping of smoked Japanese chicken sausage; Sausage & Mash; the Otak-Otak Toastie, filled with charcoal-grilled spicy fish paste; beverages such as Watermelon Lemonade with a hint of mint, Matcha Latte, hot or iced Earl Grey Vanilla Latte, and caffeine-free Kinako Latte; and desserts such as Chocolate Nutella Pudding and Cheesecake in a Jar. Favourites such as Bak Kwa Toasties remain on the menu. Diners enjoy 10 per cent off all food and dessert orders until Oct 31.

Cold Storage International Wine Fair 2015

The International Wine Fair returns for its eighth edition, featuring more than 200 labels and appearances by winemakers and representatives from 11 wineries around the world.
