SINGAPORE - The next time you head to a restaurant or cafe, you might be able to pair your food with a fermented beverage instead of the usual alcohol options.

Fermented drinks such as kombucha (fermented sweetened black tea), kefir (fermented milk), or those with fermented fruit are getting more mainstream and more restaurants are getting creative with making their own in-house brews.
