Creators of Exsto wanted a brandy that would better suit modern palates

In the male-dominated world of cognac, two French women want to change the perception of the drink and make it accessible to all.

One of the highest-ranking female sommeliers in the world, Dublin-based Julie Dupouy, 36, and Paris-based entrepreneur Sabrina Duong, 39, have teamed up with the Vallantin-Dulac family - master blenders of cognac since the 18th century - to come up with Exsto.
