The ongoing debate on whether e-cigarettes and smoke-free products should be allowed in Singapore is a healthy one

I am an addictions psychiatrist who chose to go into this field, partly because my father died from smoking-related lung cancer. He could have lived longer and enjoyed better quality of life if he had kicked the habit.

As such, I am pretty much an advocate of saying no to smoking and helping those with a smoking dependency quit the habit.
