Who: Ms Jenny Tay, 31, managing director of Direct Funeral Services and Her World Young Woman Achiever Of The Year 2016

The watch: IWC Portugieser Automatic How much I paid for it: It is a gift from my father.

Why I like it: My dressing is rather feminine, but I love the idea of a masculine and classic watch for contrast and to balance my style.

In my line of work, time is of the essence as I have to respond to people who need help urgently. I have a habit inculcated by my father - I set my watch five minutes faster, so that I'm always early for my appointments.

The watch has special significance to me as it's a gift from him.

I fondly remember him telling me: "Dear, most people take time for granted. Don't make that mistake."

Time to me is very real. When I see time stop for people, I am reminded constantly to make the most of it and to spend it positively and with love.
