MILAN, ITALY - Given the frosty temperatures at Milan Fashion Week from Feb 21 to Feb 27, it was undeniable that layering was the name of the game when it came to street style. For many of the style mavens who were in Milan to attend the shows of their favourite brands, being in the fashion capital during the year's most glamorous week meant pulling out all the stops and being as adventurous as possible with their looks. Fashion fans tell The Straits Times what they are wearing and what style means to them.

Homemaker Anna Ajiashvili, 27, and daughter Ariela, two, from Ukraine.
