In Pictures: The runways and behind the scenes at New York Fashion Week
The crowded circus that is the New York Fashion Week blew into the Big Apple on Thursday (Feb 18). With nearly 400 shows packed into eight days, even the hardiest fashionista might be daunted. The winds of discontent also seem to be chilling the event, with rumblings about social media wannabes crowding shows, Tom Ford pulling out and fashion world insiders claiming fatigue before the shows even get in their stride. Plus the opening show is by, gasp, Kanye West. Here is a look at the event over the past few days.
