SINGAPORE - Venture into Swedish fashion chain H&M's flagship store on Friday (Sept 9) and you will find shelves stocked with make-up and skincare products.
The fast-fashion retailer is launching its beauty range, of more than 1,000 items, in Singapore for the first time.
The Republic will be the only country in South-east Asia with the items, although the range is already sold in more than 40 countries including the United States, France and Germany.
It will also be available at Raffles Place from Sept 13.
The products include make-up such as foundation, lipcolour and eyeshadows; beauty tools such as brushes and sponges; and skincare items such as face masks, body scrubs and moisturisers.
All make-up and skincare products cost less than $20 each, with the cheapest item going at $2.90 for a face mask. But some accessories like cosmetic pouches, for instance, cost $39.90.
In-store activities, such as make-up demonstration sessions and a photobooth for customers to take pictures of their new look, will be held at the flagship store from Sept 9 to 12.
Customers who buy five or more items from the beauty range will receive a 20 per cent discount.
