SINGAPORE - Foundation, the humble complexion product, has been in the spotlight lately, with at least eight cosmetics companies releasing new foundations in the last four months.
In Singapore, overall revenue from the sale of foundation and concealer products increased from US$40 million in 2014 to US$42.5 million in 2018, market research provider Euromonitor found. This mirrors the global trend in spending on these products, which increased from around US$13 billion to US$15.2 billion over the same period.
