The actress Sridevi comes up multiple times during an interview with Indian fashion designer Manish Malhotra, someone who is inextricably linked to the Hindi film behemoth that is Bollywood.

The designer, who started his career as a model and then a costume designer, was speaking to The Straits Times ahead of his first full-fledged fashion show in Singapore. The invite-only event on March 25 is set to be held in the resplendent Atlas bar at Parkview Square.
