There have been a number of celebrities going into politics recently, and no, we are not just talking about Donald Trump.

Hollywood actress Cynthia Nixon, who famously portrayed sarcastic lawyer Miranda in the series Sex And The City (1998 to 2004), is currently in the running for New York governor.
