Now that the rom-com has proven to be a hit at the box office, it is time to think about casting for part two of the trilogy, China Rich Girlfriend

Now in its fourth week in the United States and already one of the biggest hits of the season, the romantic comedy Crazy Rich Asians has proven that audiences are hungry for stories about cute couples ensnared in the schemes of freakishly wealthy relatives.

Its box-office triumph has prompted producers Warner Bros to give the go-ahead to a sequel. The creative team of director Jon M. Chu and the producers are busy promoting the current film, which is still opening around the world, but it is never too soon to speculate.
