(REUTERS) - A video of performing rats, created by American teenager Abby Roeser, has become an Internet hit, getting nearly 500,000 views since it was uploaded on July 16, 2015.

In the video you see all three rats called Blue, Puffin and Cage doing several tricks including giving Abby tissues when she sneezes, climbing through obstacles and fetching money from Abby's purse when asked.

Roeser spent three years training the rats using clicker training and positive reinforcement.

Roeser said each trick took 1-5 days for the rat to master.

She also said their favourite treats are cheerios, but they also enjoy working for dog treats and leftovers from dinner.
