This can happen when the production team runs out of money, says Marco Liao

Taiwanese TV travel show host Marco Liao insists that his job is not as glamorous as it seems, even if he does get to eat and play his way around the world.

The 41-year-old, who has won Golden Bell awards for Best Lifestyle Show Host twice - in 2014 and last year - for his travel programmes, tells The Straits Times in Mandarin: "It can get really exhausting. After filming for long hours in the day, we have to check the footage at night to see what we still need. We sleep only about four hours a night."
