In Marvel movies, Mark Ruffalo plays the Hulk - a giant, green and very angry superhero.

But the actor found it infinitely harder portraying the mild-mannered real-life hero who took on a powerful company, DuPont, for dumping a toxic chemical linked to deaths, cancers and other illnesses.
